Artist Statement
My work explores simplicity, texture, and the quiet beauty of handmade design through printmaking and illustration. I draw inspiration from the natural world, urban skylines, and the small personal details that shape everyday life.
Working across digital illustration and traditional linocut printmaking, I am interested in balancing clean, minimal forms with the tactile imperfections of hand-carved processes. My background in landscape design deeply influences the way I observe shape, rhythm, and space, often informing the organic compositions and architectural elements present throughout my work.
At the center of my practice is a desire to create art that feels thoughtful, approachable, and human. Whether depicting landscapes, city scenes, or moments inspired by my chihuahua, Ichabod, I aim to celebrate simplicity and the character found in handcrafted work.
