I love creating stories and the process of conceptualizing and sharing them to inspire others. I enjoy exlporing how pictures and words can interact with each other to form an immersive story that envelopes the viewer. I like using vibrant colors and whimsical imagery to create windows into the fantasy world I've created. I use symbols and asemic writing in most of my paintings to indirectly express the narratives of each piece and add to the whimsical aesthetic. I take inspiration from all over the world, including Chinese, Japanese, and Greek styles. I primarily use watercolor, ink, and colored pencils to get the vibrancy and detail I want in my paintings. I also create digital art using Procreate on my iPad, which is perfect for creating pieces with a look I wouldn’t be able to achieve with traditional art.
