About
Corina’s work explores atmosphere, memory, and quiet moments of observation through watercolor. Her paintings often center on natural and everyday scenes—coastal landscapes, still lifes, and intimate interiors—rendered with a soft, expressive approach that prioritizes color harmony and mood over strict realism. Working primarily in watercolor on both canvas and Arches paper, she is drawn to the fluidity and unpredictability of the medium, allowing forms to emerge organically through layered washes and subtle shifts in tone. Her compositions balance structure and softness, often leaving space for ambiguity and interpretation. Originally from Europe and now based in Texas, her practice is shaped by movement across places and cultures, reflected in her sensitivity to light, texture, and atmosphere. She is currently developing a cohesive body of work while exploring opportunities to exhibit and share her paintings.
